Go with Tourism and IHG Hotels & Resorts partnered in 2023 to bring free learning and upskilling opportunities to New Zealand’s tourism and hospitality workforce.

The IHG Skills Academy, a virtual learning platform, was launched in the UK in October 2022 and offers free online education, courses and opportunities for people looking to build their confidence, get employment ready and explore their career options in the sector.

As well as having access to global resources and learning modules, people who mention “Go with Tourism” during their registration will gain access to a New Zealand-specific ‘playlist’ of curated content.

Educating and upskilling our industry, and rangatahi hoping to kickstart their careers, is a crucial factor in maintaining a successful and sustainable workforce. Go with Tourism are very excited to help IHG promote this wonderful platform across Aotearoa. We will:
