Tell us about 'Passport to the World'

The Introduction to the Travel & Tourism Industry: Passport to the World course is an introductory curriculum which is available in many languages and focuses on the different stages of a customer's journey, from start to finish. The programme is designed in such a way that basic concepts and information are combined with activities that focus on local community and international regions.

What will be covered and how long will it take to complete?

The program is an online 8 week course and is very user-friendly, for those that have trouble with technology. Each week (or session) you will learn about a new step in a customer's journey and be quizzed at the end, to check your knowledge on the subject. You don't have to spend hours in front of the screen, you can control the speed of when you want to complete the course and which components you want to focus on most.

The course is brought to you by the Global Travel & Tourism Partnership (GTTP)

The Global Travel & Tourism Partnership is a multi-country educational programmed designed to introduce students to career and educational opportunities in Travel and Tourism. To date, almost three million students in fifteen countries/regions have participated in GTTP.

Free programmes such as Passport to the World have been highly successful and were brought to New Zealand by Go with Tourism during its operational years 2019 - 2023. However, courses are still free to access.
