Launched in August 2020, Connected is an all-of-government service that provides information on government support for areas including:

• Job vacancies
• Study and training options, including support for apprenticeships
• Careers advice
• Finding staff
• Business support

The Connected service includes:

• The Connected.govt.nz website
• A phone line - 0800 264 737)
• 38 Connected Centres, located in 35 Work and Income Service Centres and 3 of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s Jobs and Skills Hubs.

You can drop into a Connected Centre without an appointment, for help navigating the services available from government agencies in your area.

Connected Centres host a wide range of activities, ranging from events for young people, to training sessions and business networking functions. Employers can meet job seekers and run events at Connected Centres, too.

The Connected website also has regional pages, to enable people to find jobs and careers, study and training opportunities and business support in their local area.
