Go with Tourism And SkyCity Announce Partnership

Go with Tourism and SkyCity have today announced a partnership which will see SkyCity Human Resources staff assist with the management of Go with Tourism’s new support service.

Since launching the “We’re Here to Help” marketing campaign on 20 April, Go with Tourism has seen an influx of operators and displaced workers from the tourism and hospitality industry reach out for help, averaging more than 50 people per day.

Programme Director, Matt Stenton, says that the small but dedicated team at Go with Tourism are in need of assistance to contact people within a reasonable timeframe. “We want to ensure that we spend quality time on every individual who reaches out to us for support, and we’re starting to find we don’t have enough hours in the day.

We are incredibly grateful to be working with SkyCity. Their assistance means we can deliver the best quality service to those who contact us.”

SkyCity has seconded four members of their Human Resources team to assist Go with Tourism over the next few weeks, just while COVID-19 enforces a quiet period for New Zealand's largest tourism, leisure and entertainment company.

As a mutual benefit, SkyCity will have the opportunity to connect with amazing talent that come through the Go with Tourism system.
